 Present Continuous Tense

Bentuk tense yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu tindakan atau kegiatan yang sedang berlangsung sekarang.

Bentuk  polanya :

        Kalimat Positif  : S + tobe (is, am, are) + Verb-ing + ....

        Kalimat Negatif : S + tobe (is, am, are) + Not + Verb-ing + ....

        Kalimat Tanya : tobe(Is, Am, Are) + S + Verb-ing + .....

Berikut contoh penggunaan dalam kalimat :

1.       (+) Ridho is singing at the concert hall

(-) Ridho is not singing at the concert hall

(?) Is Ridho singing at the concert hall? Yes, he is or No, he is not

 

2.       (+) I am reading poetry

(-) I am not reading poetry

(?) Am I reading poetry? Yes, I am or No, I am not

 

3.       (+) We are climbing the mountain

(-) We are not climbing the mountain

(?) Are We climbing the mountain? Yes, We are or No, We are not

 

4.       (+) He is writing a letter

(-) He is not writing a letter

(?) Is He writing a letter? Yes, he is or No, he isn’t

 

5.       (+) Father is hearing the radio

(-) Father is not hearing the radio

(?) Is Father hearing the radio? Yes, he is or No, He isn’t

1)      Anggotanya 2 = 15

3)      Jumlah seluruh himpunan bagian = 64
